It arrived.

A Dcorn USB microscope off Amazon with great resolution and easy to use, it connects to the PC/TV so I am happy there is a larger screen to use with it.

Is there a thread on hunting tips, like what resolution you use, do you look at all the coin and zoom, or start with it zoomed in and inch along the coin? preference?

I just know with every hobby there are things done that are accepted as gospel to the initiated.

organizing, just stuff the average person may not have considered.

Gloves, and gentle handling are already a thing in my process. lol I even made some "soft" tweezers, and some silicone clay modeling tools that are very soft for moving, I have a safe surface to play with the coins.

Love the pics this thing gets.

Never post a screen shot and start out looking at the coin with a handheld Jewlers loupe of 10x to 14x power. Use the scope to see close up and to take photos onto your computer and then transfer them here on CCF. It looks like you need to play with your lighting, too much glare/hot spots.

I will definitely work on the lighting. I have a jewelers loop but I find that does not work so well for me.

Funny story, I search for thing for a living. I learned that I have Aphantasia. Which I am told accounts for my skills at finding things.
The process for me is whole picture, so whole coin, and large. thus the usb scope.
