Hello everyone. I often hear about a dime without the letter S, and it is rare. I have more than one. Please help if I have the required type despite your experience with this. Thank you very much.

It's only the proofs, that's not a proof.

1975 Dime do not have Philadelphia MM. For your coin first you has to look at the Rim. Will show you it is normal strike or proof. Then after you look for MM.

They will be business strikes, it's unnecessary to post 40 1975 Philadelphia dimes.

They aren't the rare proofs.

There were 586,000,000 circulation strike 1975 Philadelphia dimes minted - whether you have one or one hundred they are a common coin worth 10 cents each.

There is quite a bit of misinformation being intentionally spread on social media sites such as IG. Some goofball posts images of auction results for Proof Coin rarities, ie the missing S, then sends their followers to check their change. Replies include everybody proclaiming how many they have. The good ball doesn't answer any of their questions, but I think if you get lots of followers that these clowns make money.

The missing 'S' mint proof dime would look like this:

Note these coins are struck twice and the design is a lot stronger. Your coin is a business strike from Philadelphia and common.
