Has kind of a bonus over a straight mated pair as the one coin is also broadstruck, although I don't think that is entirely rare for these. Now just trying to figure out a way to actually display them in a way that shows off what they are. Maybe use two thirds of a 2x2 designed to display Three Cents unless you want to slab them together. I'm pretty sure that's where something like this comes from, you sort through things and find a couple that match. Would be nice to slab them in a PCGS pairs slab but at $70 per coin plus cost for oversize holder and all the fees would likely be almost $200 to do so. The pair as is is probably only worth somewhere in the $300's so can't see doing that. Would love to have them as a shelf display but not really at that expense. Report this Post to the Staff
