Trying to figure the lettering damage on this one. Almost positive the E and the A are PMD. But what's going on with the P? I am sure you gentlemen will have an answer. The A is kinda cool I think.
Unlike errors where you can usually tell how it happened, it is not always possible to do the same with damage unless you were there at the time. It looks like your cent has taken numerous hits and circulation wear. It shouldn't really matter how it happened because damage is damage no matter what the cause.
Thanx for your answer guys. So some type of PMD could have lifted the loop of the P up on to the post of the P? Being new at this, the P is the only one that didn't register in my logical thinking. Thanx again, have learned a lot in two days here, reading posts and lookin at posted pics
Yes CJ18850 I think it is as well. My 6 and 4 year old grandchildren love it and everything will be theirs someday, so they said it is a keeper. Thanx for your replies everyone
