It is from a coin roller machine, the one at the end of the roll. As the coins are rolled and paper is wrapped tightly to hold coin together, it damages the coin.
Agreed - that is damage from contact with a coin roll crimping machine. If you search many coins going forward you will unfortunately encounter this quite often.
I do not keep for rolling machine because the circle is far to small comparative with Rolling machine. Something was punch on the coin after Mint and was punch twice.
