Just got this one the other day. Almost 100% its an N-10. Yes?

And I am thinking VF. Yes, I know the rim dings would likely pull a damaged detail.

I believe you are right about N-10. Fine sharpness would be my guess.

Yes it is N-10. The only other variety with cracks through all the stars like that is N-8, but on N-8 the crack is trough the OUTER points of all the stars. On N-10 it is through the inner points of most of the stars.

The OP's coin is Rare, in that the vast majority of Large Cents in the Randall Hoard were 1818 N-10. This variety is more common in Uncirculated condition than it is in a true circulated grade
