I use the Brother P-Touch EDGE labeler.
Give me a few minutes, and I'll post up all the settings needed to do this to ANY Dansco album.

Dearborn, what did you use to erase the pages from the 7188 pages?

Quote: Well I finally got my customized 8188 Innovation album together to include the reverse proof issues as well. Looks great in final form I think it worked out even better than the other example using blank pages and avery printed labels, but thats another way someone might do this also if they dont wish to attempt the erasure of the text. http://goccf.com/t/423647&whichpage=3#3763470Quote: wish Dansco would have had the foresight to do it correctly. To be fair to Dansco as discussed in that thread - As far as feedback Dansco does want to know what collectors want as mentioned to me and just that it appears noone gave them feedback prior to the production so thats why direct feedback can be helpful to a company going forward before its produced. You were in touch mainly with a reseller and I only brought it up to them after production started in this case due to the posts being made here. Several did not seem to like the caps album setup either that was an off the shelf but also more expensive option, so it took a bit of time to figure out what was wanted and production started by then.

I never intended to collect the reverse proof innovation dollars as a set. I was going to buy a few of the designs I liked and keep them in their OGP. For my Dansco album set, I was going to build it like I had the other baby dollars: proof only in a date set album. It could not bring myself to build a P/D/S album with the mint mark being on the edge. I changed my mind when the Mint started releasing the reverse proof series as annual sets. I bought all the previous single issues when I found out the Mint still had all them sale. Then I found myself thinking about something other than one date set album. Would I get two date albums or buy something to house both? I settled on the P/D album and am pleased.

Quote: Dearborn, what did you use to erase the pages from the 7188 pages? I used isopropyl alcohol (99% strength) and several q-tips on a wood stick. There is another topic on this subject (and my album modification process) that I explained how to erase the existing Dansco ink. Have a look here for it: How I erased the text from a Dansco albumBut I did forget one tiny piece of detail - the wiping was done with the paper towell between the Q-tip applications to not het the pages get too wet and 'bleach out' Quote: You were in touch mainly with a reseller and I only brought it up to them after production started in this case due to the posts being made here. Actually I was also on their main site in the chat area, I put in several messages that sat for months it the "waiting to be approved' status, then one day they were deleted. I also sent in an email to them as well. But at that time, I didn't have a finished example to show them.

But at that time, I didn't have a finished example to show them Interesting as I had posted also that a few attempts via phone call to get the info prior to its production originally did not get answered when I tried to get the info for you and jbuck on whether it was going to include reverse proofs. They answered right away later on so maybe being a small company and very busy catching up the support was somewhat on hold. In the end you got what you wanted but took extra money and time and possibly some potential loss to them if there are a lot of collectors who also prefer that to the current layout without reverse proofs. The official release without the extra work you would have to add a single blank page and put them in the back separate from the other P,D, and S proofs. I guess if you need extra money you can establish Dearborn's Custom Coin Albums company in 2023/2024.

Ah... already answered. Big thank you for this information. I need to add some blank pages to my nickel and quarter Dansco albums. This will be helpful. All your collections are primo.
