Hello everyone,

I bought a private collection of American coins today ( the woman's father put it together... I have not handled a visible date SLQ before. Thoughts on this one would be appreciated...

EF-45 sounds right, but looks scuffed across the belly below the sash in this pic.

Type 1 - looks between VF35 and XF40. I cant get her to 45.

As mostly found in your location this one appears to be cleaned. the surfaces are too clean for a coin in that grade so its probably a details coin but its pretty nice for a type 1

Thank you everyone
.. @pan, I agree it is cleaned. Unfortunate, since I bought it in a collection with mostly uncleaned coins.

VF-35 details (cleaned). The weakness in the center of the coin holds it back from XF, in my opinion.
