Looks like rim deterioration or lamination error and O spot on reverse

@clw, for sure there is some damage on the rim. Is there also a bit of a lamination? Perhaps, but the damage is overshadowing this. Normally lams are visible across the face of a coin rather than just on the rims.

Don't see any rim deterioration or a lamination.

Agree, I believe we're looking at post-strike damage from long ago (certainly not from last week).
