Congrats to the winner and runners-up on this round! Wow, I guess the shape of the container really threw me off on this one, because I was nowhere in the ballpark...
Thanks again, nickelsearcher, this is an entertaining contest!

I mentioned in the rules that I will endeavor to make the contest more challenging for each subsequent round - and that is mainly the result of the open container shape.

So far, through the Round 3 photo above, you can at least see inside the container. Not saying that will be the case going forward.

Appreciation Prizes

At the conclusion of the contest I have decided to award two Appreciation Prizes. The Appreciation Prizes are not dependent on guessing point totals. Eligibility rules are quite simple:

You did not win one of the three main event prizes
You entered a guess in at least 4 separate rounds
You entered a guess in Round 5

So far, all of the players have maintained eligibility for an Appreciation Prize.

Appreciation Prizes will be awarded as follows:

The three contest podium winners select their main event prizes
I'll write all remaining eligible players names on a slip of paper and assign to each a unique number from 1 to x, where x is the number of eligible players. The unique numbers will be assigned to each name in a random manner.
I'll use this CCF contest forum to ask one of the players to give us two numbers from 1 to x. Hopefully we can get a volunteer - otherwise I'll ask a moderator to provide the two numbers.
I'll find the two names associated with those numbers and publish a photo of them in this contest.

And those two lucky folks will be awarded one of the following Appreciation Prizes:

Nickelsearcher-10,000-Post-Contest---Champion-Keith67

That's a flock of little clocks hanging out and having a good time - looks like they are having a party.

The big version is of course one of the main contest prizes so showed up just for the photo.

The little clocks are the pool from which the Appreciation Prizes will be drawn from. We'll use this photo to help select the prizes.

I'll do my best to entertain specific requests from the Appreciation Prize winners - but can't promise that I can as the desired clock might well have been sold by time the Appreciation Prizes are awarded.

Each of the little clocks are about 3" tall. They are fitted with a Seiko quartz clock movement. I made each by hand. They are a very popular item that sells for $46 at the Gallery that represents my work.

So, when the contest is all finished we will be awarding a total of five prizes. The three Main Contest Prizes depend on point totals as described in the original rules. The two Appreciation Prizes will be awarded on a random basis with all eligible players having an equal chance at them.

@Dearborn - reading your Round 3 guesses gives me a headache.

@ijn1944 - do you recall seeing this photo before? I told you it would be coming back!
