Nice find! I'm with John1, what's the attribution number? A clue is you have good markers.

I'm thinking it might be a circulation hit on the top arc of the S. Too, a possible die crack on the head. Will be fun to see where this goes.

Totally forgot to mention the die crack. As for attribution numbers, besides the 1953S-1MM-006 @Halo1st mentioned. In wexlers it is listed as worm-006. Here is a screenshot of that one. Also in the U of trust, is that anything? Like a die break or something or just md?

Thanks everyone. And a spike head? That has to mean the die break but I'm looking it up to make sure. Thanks everyone. Tho may be the coolest thing I have found in my 7 months of roll hunting and numismatics in general. I'm stoked.

Thank you @ijn1944 !! I almost feel like a real numismatist. All joking aside it is very gratifying to feel like the hours and hours of reading, watching videos, and rewatching and rereading and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th guessing myself is starting to pay off. Long way to go and I can't wait to find something else. Hitting the bank with a little pep in my step tomorrow. Pick up some Starbucks gift cards for them as well. They always take care of me so I try the same.

Well done and congrats on the find.
As a thank you, Edible arrangements go over well but I'm not sure if covid might make a business shy away from accepting a group gift.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
