2000 D Lincoln Cent Plated? - Coin Community Forum

allcoinsaregood Pillar of the Community United States 808 Posts	Posted 06/03/2023 3:17 pm Coin Community, for your review I have what appears to be a plated 2000 D Lincoln Cent! It was a very difficult coin to shoot because of how bright it is so I apologize for my number of pictures. On the obverse you can see a crease to the left of Lincoln, right over the E in Liberty. On the Right the Date which has MD. On the reverse to the right of the Memorial there are ripples in the plating next to RICA of America. This is the first plating job on a cent I have seen.
