On 6/2/23 I bid on several Items from an Auction in Loveland, Colorado. I won all the items I bid on. This auction only accepts Zelle or bank transfers. Well my bank does not do Zelle, so I had to wait til Monday to do a bank transfer. They acknowledged receipt of the funds. They said they would get the coins right out that week. Well a week and a half later I still didn't receive the coins so I contacted them on 6/13/23 they said they misplaced my items and they would go out that Tuesday. Well I am still waiting. I contacted them again on 6/21/23 and they claimed it was put in with the non-paid items. I told the they were very unprofessional and a poor company. They told me I was unreasonable. Now I paid $500 for these Items. I have waited 3 weeks! Am I being Unreasonable in expecting what I paid for in a timely manor?

Moose, hopefully your coins will arrive soon. I've had issues with many online auction companies, but nothing like this. The limited payment options would have been a red flag for me.

@moo, you will see that I have very slightly edited your post to remove a word, that while not a swear word in the George Carlin sense, isn't particularly family-friendly. I understand your frustration, but please keep your language exceptionally clean here. Thx and best wishes for a satisfactory resolution to this purchase.

Moose - you're not being unreasonable, most of us probably feel the same way as you. (I'd call for an Airborne assault)

Hopefully not these guys, nothing good at all pops up on their auctions. https://www.yelp.com/biz/berger-coi...nd-2#reviewsLot's of reviews saying they don't ship out items and money is taken. If it's on the Hi-Bid site, I have never had any good feeling about auctions there.

I've bought many coins from sellers on Hi-Bid. Remember, they are just an auction hosting clearinghouse. There are some excellent sellers there, and some that are a bit sketchy. Always check the Auction Information, Terms and Conditions, Payment Information, and Shipping Information before bidding. Beware of excessively high Buyer's Premium and those that use 3rd party shipping.

I have two big problems with on-line auctions:- 1. I don't get to examine to examine any lot in hand, that I may be interested in, before placing a written bid, and 2. I don't have the option to pay in cash for a purchase. Nevertheless, I always peruse all lots of an auction on line, before deciding to attend a view day in person. At this point, there is no need to register on-line. So far, neither of the two problems that I have, have prevented me from being reasonably active at public auction. (I have never been scammed, - I try to have as small a digital identity as possible). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yahoo ! 21,000 posts !

Sorry to hear of your experience moose59. I figured as much when I heard your story, not to say all HiBid auctions are bad, but my own experiences have not been good and I have never had a deal see it's way through to completion, so I gave up on them.
