The hit on the hand was a concern and I would have passed if it did not have the CAC sticker. One of the guys at Heritage look at it and said, It was PQ for grade, but was not undergraded. Quote: The particular shape of the stain below Lib's right hand can be a bit distracting for some collectors, but does not affect the grade. Same can be said for the uneven toning. There is a field detail above Lib's right shoulder, - I can't quite make up my mind what it may, be but hopefully, it does not affect the grade. The particular shape below Lib's right hand appears to be a planchet flaw. The field detail above Lib's right shoulder is a raised area in the metal. She is not perfect, but she has strong eye appeal. Nice looking business strike Trade dollars are difficult to find once you get past the common dates. I was going back and forth between AU58 and MS63 on it. glad it pulled the MS grade. the color is crazy Report this Post to the Staff
