Sounds like it. I'm sending positive vibes out to you knowing that it will take time to heal.

So sorry for your loss.
It isn't easy but you'll remember something about her on a daily basis that will make you smile.

When my father passed in 2021, I asked people to remember one word about him that made them smile.
It seemed to help me and my siblings to focus on the good times and not get lost in the grief we were experiencing.

Strong intelligent women raise strong intelligent offspring. From what I've seen here you are a testament to her.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

It is always incredibly hard to lose somebody that was so important in your life, she was your life coach, her loss must be very hard to take, but now it's time to take what she taught you and go forward and never forget her and what she did for you.

I am sorry to hear of this loss to you and your family. My mom passed away at the end of May. It's hard losing a parent. It changed my perspective on what things are really important in life. It sounds like you were there for her when she needed you in those last difficult few months.

My condolences to you, vermontensium and others who have also mentioned a loss of a loved one recently. I lost my dad as well as two grandparents around the same time.

It is said that people die twice. First, they die when their bodies give out, but they only truly die finally after the very last person that knew them and holds memories of them are also gone. Therefore, they are not gone, as they are, and will not be...forgotten anytime soon by those who cared about them as shown here. I hope you will cherish their memories within you as you now carry their legacy on.

When my grandma died, after her funeral, we were visiting with my grandpa, who lives in Northern NM and is of Apache decent, told me and my mom, to come back in 2 months for his service. Sure enough, he passed. Broken heart are my thoughts. They were married over 60 years.
