Looks like Hadrian. Salus reverse? The Roman experts will be along soon, I suspect.

It's certainly an ancient Roman bronze coin, of emperor Hadrian - or perhaps a replica. That edge, with the strong upturned rim, definitely is not in the style of typical ancient coins. I suspect it's genuine, but someone has turned it into jewellery, spooning the edge to make it fit.

Unfortunately, as a jewellery-damaged" coin, it is of much less interest to collectors.

I my opinion it is real and ancient. The dim but evident "SC" is correctly placed and the raised edges can be what is left of the dotted line that was raised and once worn could look quite raised and smoothed. Coins like this could be water logged for centuries as well which makes the strange surface.

Bronzes with hammered rims like this are usually referred to as "proto-contorniates". Perhaps used as game pieces or...?

... and if this is "proto", what then is an actual contorniate?
