I found some information on the interweb about a claim that a TPG swapped a resubmitted '64 SMS cent with a regular strike '64 cent. Some of the information in the report claims that the slab submitted for recertification was counterfeit or tampered with.

I can post the link to the report if anyone wants to take a look, but I wanted to see if it's been discussed on the CCF in the past before I do.

Bunk - all reputable TPGs are extremely careful and routinely handle coins worth $100k and more.

Now are there counterfeit TPG holders with coins that might not be genuine? Sure. But do you blame Louie for the counterfeit Louis Vuitton handbag?
