I have this ancient coin, I think it's Roman, but I can't find a match for it. The only things I can make out are the outline of a man's face facing right, with maybe the latter's AI'C on the obverse? And on the reverse, it looks like a man holding up a two-pronged stick. The coin is medal alignment and probably bronze.

Aside from the profile looking like Septimius Severus, might you be so kind as to give size in mm and weight in grams? Or at least size in mm would probably be enough for us to rule out and in coin series for the ID. I redid your photos a bit below. If this is like 17 mm, I'd say even a denarius of Septimius Severus with someone in military dress on the back standing.

I don't have a scale yet, but it's 16mm

I think the obverse legend probably ends AVG, which indeed wouldn't help very much. Though if so it's not a 5th century font for that V...
...if anything, it's a 3rd/early 4th century font, though that period had very different faces.

I can't make any sense of the reverse, though I think it could be consistent with a Fel Temp fallen horseman if we rotate it about 40ish degrees clockwise.
