Thanks, Errers! Uruguay has a sun on quite a few of their coins. This circulating commemorative celebrates National hero Jose Gervasio Artigas (seen on the 1968 Peso), leader of the Uruguayan troops, who won a great victory against the colonial Spanish troops in 1811 leading to Uruguay's independence. (Argentina also has many cool coins with a sun)
