PCGS - During the Great Depression, a $50 bill possessed the purchasing power of about $1,100 today. This pack of 100 Series 1928A $50 bill totals $5,000 - but about $100,000 in 1930s purchasing power. Once backed by gold, these notes lost convertibility with a 1933 executive order. Today, nearly 100 years later, the pack is authenticated and graded by PCGS, containing 11 Star Notes to add to the already immense rarity. A paper money collector's dream.
