I just got a roll from the US Mint with each mint mark and into the 3rd quarter in the P mint roll and I came across these. Quarter looks like its missing its clad layer? Very faded and dull. I didn't need magnification to see the what looks like a bird I drew as a kid on her forehead but the die chip on her fingers is cool.
I didn't post the picture but there's another one of the bird looking dye chips or clash on her chest and I got a roll of the Denver mint the San Francisco mint and the Pennsylvania mint and every single one of the Pennsylvania mints have a dimple on his lip That is not found on the San Francisco or the Denver.
That is a hit mark from another coin, it is caused from the edge of a coin that has a reeds. The dimples on lip is probably die chips which is very common on newer quarters.
Man, had not seen this design before, but not a huge fan of all the negative space on the reverse. Kind of looks like a token of some kind, not an actual coin. I do like that the mint is experimenting a bit with designs, bug this one is just kinda weird.
