To be clear, ALL of us should be very proud of these coins we post. It's NOT a competition. These coins are works of art, AND also represent our history. EVERY coin has a story!!!!

Toned and in need of an acetone bath, but in pretty good condition. The rest of the ones I have go downhill from here, as Peace dollars are not really my thing.

Thank you. Wait until Monday when you see my 1926 MS66. To me it looks like an MS71, lol. Right now it's at PCGS for "Reconsideration". I'm hoping to get an upgrade either to 66+ or maybe an outside shot at 67. I'll know in another eight or nine weeks or so.

First time on this thread and every Peace you posted is nicer than the prior! Beautiful! Thank you my friend! Since I chose to put together a DATE set of Peace dollars, a total of only 10 coins are needed. I already had two of the 10 from my Type Set, so I only needed to buy eight. As a DATE set, I can pick and choose which mint for each coin to buy. I could have chosen the tougher mints, but instead I chose the more common mint for each date (unless two of the mints were close in value for the grade I wanted). Having made these choices to buy only eight more coins with the most common mint, I was able to afford to buy higher grades for each coin based on the budget I allocated. Had I chosen to do a complete Peace dollar set, the grades of the coins in my set would have then been much lower. Steve
