My one and only Peace dollar, with a very bald eagle. The value is purely sentimental. Given to me by my grandfather 50 years ago and still in the 2x2 I put it in as a kid. I picture him getting it as a tip when playing trumpet in Chicago speakeasies during the Roaring Twenties. He carried a revolver in his trumpet case. I was at the wedding of his great- granddaughter over the weekend, so here's to you, gramps.

Fantastic heirloom, kbbpll! Thank you for the story.
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine! My collecting "Pride & Joy" is my PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 Set: https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/ty...edset/213996
