Lot Description DENMARK. Pauline & Martin Heymann's 25th Wedding Anniversary Tin and Copper Medal, 1893. Christian IX. NGC MS-64.
Bruun-16873. Diameter: 62mm. Unsigned. Unusual bi-metal medal, the central copper part in a very high relief.
The Heymanns were an industrious Jewish family in Denmark. Martin's brother, Philip was the co-founder of the Tuborg Brewery. The 'Pauline and Martin Heymann Scholarship' is still awarded today by the Jewish Community in Denmark.
