One year ago I found this Coin Community online because I found myself with 10,000+ coins that I had inherited from my Father & Grandfather. Over the years I had taken them out and looked at them occasionally, but really I knew nothing about varieties & errors.
I started with the Lincoln Cents and after a year I am still on Lincoln Cents. Most of the collection is in AU or MS condition. My ultimate goal is to identify specific varieties and/or errors and to get them sealed in 2X2 holders at least.
My first couple of weeks posting to this site was probably a little annoying to some of the members because I really really didn't know anything but everyone seemed to continue to offer helpful info and understanding, and for that I am most grateful. There is so much to learn and it all can be confusing and frustrating at times but to me it is a worthwhile endeavor and it's a permanent part of my life life now.
Thanks!!!
I will have to look into my inherited stamp collection one day.
