Dowhat Pillar of the Community United States 876 Posts	Posted 10/09/2023 7:44 pm The upper tier companies seem to be PCGS, NGC, and Anacs, respectively. Would you expect to pay considerably less e.g., ICG, PGA.....etc.? Would you be hesitant to resubmit to PCGS or NGC, or go with what you got. Hoping for some schooling here. Thanks for looking here. If you buy a none TPG coin and "you" grade it higher than it might be a candite to re-slab and one of the three trusted TPGs. John1 Report this Post to the Staff

That said, I go by the coin. I have ANACS and ICG graded coins that I feel are either undegraded or would cross at the same grade, however, I don't feel the need to waste the money doing that. Even the PCGS and NGC can be debatable or straight up wrong sometimes. Its all subjective. When it comes to the "other slabs", my advice is to value the coin as raw in the grade / condition that YOU believe it to be. That might require some self education, and that is always a great thing. What you have to be careful is with other graders not the above, those ms70 coins many times are not ms70.
