Hi all,

Can I get opinions on this 1998P dime?
The weight is 2.27g, the color is uniform on both sides and rim.

If it were missing the cladding layer, the color would be more copper looking not grey (gray?) The weight is spot on for a normal dime - so I'll say that this is just environmentally toned.

Thx for including the weight. I agree with @dear about the environmental toning--coins can come out of the ground looking like this.

Agreed, just toned from the environment.

Missing clad would be down around the 2.0 area.
