Received a coin back from PCGS and it was labeled First Strike but missing the extra V on the label. Contacted customer service but they don't seem to care about there mess they have created now I'm stuck with a devalued coin and a service that can care less. Just a heads up sorry about the rant.

Is the "extra V" a variety PCGS recognizes? If not, they should return the money to paid for variety attribution.

@nfine.... I was curious myself & looked at ebay listings, yes PCGS does recognize the extra V.

@Butch.... What grade did it come back?

@butch, first welcome to CCF. Second, sorry that you are having trouble with getting satisfaction with your third party grading service. Since your question seems to be more about the service provided then looking for estimates/confirmation of a specific grade, I've moved your thread over to this subforum. Perhaps one of our members will have a suggestion for how best to handle this issue.

Is this an issue where you had to pay for a service that you didn't? I'm guessing no if you paid for FS.
