I was considering opening up my 2006 double dollar silver proof set to use the quarter in my album. Out of curiosity I went on ebay to see what the set as a whole is selling for. I was surprised!

One seller is selling just the gold plated silver dollar for $140.00 and the other sellers were selling for 149.00 for the entire set. These are different sellers and ebay stores.

I am just curious as to why prices for this set are so high?

thanks
malissa
