@boj, to help me learn, can you please tell us what the diagnostic difference is between the two obverses. I'm not sure that I can find a difference not explainable by differential circulation wear. Thx.

Looking online, it seems that more than 6% (as stated on Numista) of the 10 Cent 1948 Netherlands coins on ebay are the MULE version. There is also a slight difference in Queen Wilhelmina's chin, nose, and hair.
An explanation may be a matter of recycling the Curacao obverse dies. Only 1 million 1/10 Gulden coins were minted, and they were silver. On the other hand, 69 million of the 10 Cents were minted - of nickel. And no 1/10 Gulden coins were minted after 1948, so it would have been a waste to not use them.

Ok perfect thx for the explanations. I'm glad the differences are relatively subtle, because I wasn't seeing anything big in terms of differences.
