This small coin was labelled as Miletos bird left.
It is 10 dia and 1.04 grams
The flip side looks to be counterstamped with T

Any hints please?

More like an eagle left. And the Miletos coin with the bird is silver. So at the very least I think it is something else.

I'd tend to assume a copper coin with an eagle on it was from Ptolemaic Egypt.

Thank you both.

Yes, in hand it does tend to look more like an eagle, and definitely copper.

And so continues the hunt. I don't know about other collectors of ancients, but I personally prefer the hunt to the final ID. Once the coin is tagged and put into the album, I do enjoy looking back over them later and sharing them with the few friends down this way who appreciate coins, but it doesn't compare to the stimulation I get from searching through all of the links and sites searching for any possibilities.
