Yes, in hand it does tend to look more like an eagle, and definitely copper. And so continues the hunt. I don't know about other collectors of ancients, but I personally prefer the hunt to the final ID. Once the coin is tagged and put into the album, I do enjoy looking back over them later and sharing them with the few friends down this way who appreciate coins, but it doesn't compare to the stimulation I get from searching through all of the links and sites searching for any possibilities.
