Pretty much the same as last year (the first goal being similar to @spence, but I am lower on the completion curve):

1. Continue to add early dated/datable coins in the 1400s, 1300s and "decade coins" earlier. Still missing 1491, 1488, 1487, and most dates before 1474. Last year I added 10. Next year would be happy with 3 to 5.

2. Continue to grow collection and knowledge of saints on medieval coins. Last year I added 15 in this theme.

3. Continue work on Numista catalog.

I'd like to get a bit more disciplined about my spending. Last year I was up a bit over 2022, but I'm gonna blame it on inflation (at least both years were lower than 2019-2021). Starting the year with a few unplanned purchases stimulated by this thread http://goccf.com/t/456810 is not helping things.

I've been collecting for a few years now and still don't have the greatest idea of where I want my collection to turn. Currently, I'm really into proof nickels, specifically graded liberties. Of course, I want to stack more silver, hopefully, 50 oz more this year. Maybe an ounce of gold if I can afford it. I also want to get more into foreign currencies, specifically Greek currency because I already have a small set of 1944 bills.

psuman08,

Saw Your 10 Listed Coins, May I ask, another fellow GSA Collector, Why you have THOSE specific dates listed, May I also ask, Do you Also collect the GSA Collections, meaning Any and All Dates Out there, from the Carson City Minted MORGANS....

I could not help myself from asking, I personally have NOT seen this Topic in a Very Long Time. The GSA CC's are a Very Special SET, to Me..... Thanks in Advance.....MD.

I realized here that I wanted to put in my piggy bank. It is not known if I will ever buy it, but the message here will remind me that I would like to buy it.
1)1999 Rouble Pushkin in slab
2)2001 Rouble 10th Anniv. CIS in slab
3)Obol Pantikapei Bosporan Kingdom of the 4th-3rd centuries BC in slab
Let's stop there for now. It's just my wish list.

As expected, I did not buy any of these 3 coins. I don't know what the problem was, I just made more spontaneous purchases and knew that I could buy these 3 coins later. Maybe this year I will add something from this.

But here is my list of the coins of the probable which I want to purchase for my collection:
1) Series American Innovation:
- Massachusetts;
- Vermont;
- Kentucky;
- Louisiana;
The complete set of 2024. Now I am collecting exclusively Mint D, and we will focus on it for now.

2) Series American Women Quarters:
- Maria Tallchief;
The full set of coins for 2024. Also Mint D.

3) Assemble a complete set of 50 State Quarters for my album. Mint P is fully assembled. Now you need to assemble the mint D.

4) Commemorative coins Georgia:
- 10 Lari State System 3000 Years;
- 10 Lari 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ.

5) Commemorative coins Armenia:
- Set Provinces Series 50 dram 2012;
- Set coins 30 years of national currency 2023
- 100 Dram Caucasian otter WWF;
- 100 Dram Armenian silver seagull WWF.
The last two coins are quite expensive (about $ 200), so this is the plan for the coming years.

6) Continue collecting regular and commemorative coins of Papua New Guinea.

7) Continue collecting regular and commemorative coins of Fiji.

8) Continue collecting regular and commemorative coins of Indonesia.

9)Collecting Danco 7070 PCGS. In the current conditions, this is almost impossible, so I put it in the last place.

I don't seem to have forgotten anything.

Expand my knowledge of Maria Theresa Talers, and try to get hold of a nice 1794 DANIEL ECCLESTON LANCASTER halfpenny token, raised rim as per Matthew Boulton's 1799 Soho issues, with plough and upper part of sailing ship on reverse. Eccleston was an English entrepreneur and is shown on the obverse without the customary wig.

Well, that was quick! Mr Eccleston's token turned up. I've been smiled upon from a great height!
