1943 Belgian Congo 2 Francs Minted in Philadelphia. This type contains a mistake in the legend with "Belgish" instead of "Belgisch" and was rapidly replaced by a round type struck in Pretoria, South Africa.   Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

Many of Liberia's coins in the 20th century featured an elephant on the obverse and a palm tree on the reverse, such as this 1941 ½ Cent.  Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures
