Don't time pass fast when ya' havin' fun?
Seems just like yesterday that I clocked 500 posts
I was completely oblivious to the upcoming mini milestone, but that oblivion was awoken by the subtle tones of John1 when he popped into the middle of an Ancient ID topic, thus:

ttkoo,

Getting close to a post
Time for a contest or giveaway?
John1

Ok, I love a contest too.

So starting from my post number 1000 (not before!) all you need to do is guess my birthdate, or be closest to it.
You can have 10 guesses, but they must be on separate posts.
NO editing of any shape or form or that guess will be eliminated
The format must be Aussie dd/mm/yy or dd/mm/yyyy or d/m/, not US.... example the 1st of December, 2024 would be 01/12/24.
Open to anyone, anywhere. Posted worldwide.

A prize pack of course consisting of:

1983 Royal Australian Mint Uncirculated Coin Set
1000th-Post-Milestone-Giveaway-Contest-Down-Under.

1990 ANZAC 75th Commemoration $5 coin Uncirculated
1000th-Post-Milestone-Giveaway-Contest-Down-Under.

2022 Royal Australian Mint Penny Token Uncirculated
1000th-Post-Milestone-Giveaway-Contest-Down-Under.

So off you go and have a crack, there are a lot of possibilities.
The contest will run until 16th of January 2024, closing at 7.00PM Australian Central Daylight Time, that's an Aussie thing, so you do the math. a.k.a 2.30AM Forum Time

If no-one is within cooee (another Aussie thing) of the date by the 6th of January, I'll drop a big hint which will narrow it down to a few hundred possibilities. That clue is already out there in the posts somewhere if you cared enough to look.

Cheers
ttkoo

Additional rule: If you post a date that's already selected, it won't count.

Fair enough Keith67, far be it from me to rock the boat.
So the contest will end at 2.30AM Forum Time on 16 January 2024.

@ igwt79

I appreciate that. However, I'm not hung up about the year format, I'm just used to day month year, and don't want to get confused with something like 7/5/XX. Is it 7th May or 5th July?

Re-use your 2nd guess if you want to, or are you set on 17 November ?

Does that mean I can make 10 guesses today in separate posts?

@ttkoo
Thanks for the reply and clarification.
I'll keep 17 November 1955 as my first guess.

And I'll hold on to my next 9 guesses for a bit.

Thanks for the contest and cool prizes!
