Today I received a 2024 P Mary Edwards Walker quarter.
It is odd to get a philly minted coin since I live in the denver mints backyard.

I'm referring to the fact that 2024 coins are very scarce. Last year I found over sixty 2023 coins in circulation. We're at the end of September and I've only found twelve 2024s.

At least you're finding something. I've only found 8 cents and 4 dimes. It's been weeks since I've found anything.

I've found plenty of 2024-D quarters of all varities out in SoCal and the Vegas area. 2024 dimes and cents show up, but not at normal levels...
The really hard one is the nickels. With two months to go in the year, I sit at a total of 3 found (all 2024-Ds)... Unlike 2009, my local area has not been a release point for the scarce, newly minted coins.
