Brandmeister's 1000th Post Contest.

To thank the CCF for being the best coin community on the Internet, I have decided to run a 20th Century Challenge. Up for grabs, a 1971-S Eisenhower dollar, 40% silver uncirculated business strike. On the obverse, President Eisenhower, a brilliant military leader who led the Allied effort to liberate Europe in World War II. Later he guided NATO and America through the dangerous early stages of the Cold War. On the reverse, the symbolic Eagle on the moon. The lunar landing is the most singular accomplishment of the 20th century, and quite possibly of all human history. At least until mankind sets foot on another planet. =)

Apologies to all our international friends, but I will only ship within the United States.

The rules are simple. I will pick a random year between 1900-1999 ahead of time. You guys post coins from your collections for each year. The first player to post a coin for a particular year will own that year. One post per player per day. All 100 years must be covered before I announce the winner.

The contest begins at 12:01 a.m. (00:01) EST on 5 January 2024. No posts before that time will count.

To help organize things, I will update the following grid of numbers. The black numbers are the years still needed to complete the 20th century. Obviously people will outpace my updates throughout the day, so check the most recent posts as well.
