That may be the case with this auction. I thought once you are NARUed by ebay, you are not allowed to reregister again

Good point, I don't know how he has done it. What is that his fourth sign-on? Makes ebay look bad.

Very true. Also, counterfeits are not allowed to be sold at all. Copies and repros must be stated in the title. He's still breaking the rules. Plus I'm mad at him. [:0]

I believe that ebay's policy prohibiting ALL counterfeits is misguided and detrimental to the hobby. A properly identified circulating counterfeit of a non-monetary coin SHOULD BE PERFECTLY LEGAL to sell. They make exceptions for many colonial issues but not for later NON-MONETARY coins. I agree that in the case of the 1930 Australian Penny forgery that it should be marked "COPY" before it is sold. But if you have a demonetized coin from the 1800s and it is properly described - What is the problem? The problem with ebay is that they allow too many "Private" auctions and they protect the sellers while hiding behind a "Let the Buyer Beware" policy. So only intentional frauds remain and honest guys get nailed. Sorry to vent a bit - but ebay seems to completely miss the point. Fraud and misrepresentation are the problems not collecting and selling LEGAL counterfeits.

This particular fellow is exactly the type that needs to be eliminated. I was just venting. Glad to hear you favor a more enlightened approach. Too bad I can't seem to get anyone at ebay to listen.

Leave him alone. His auction is within rules now. You cannot touch him.

His TOS may well be within ebay's selling guidelines but he has still breached ebay's policy of reregistering under a different ID when he has been NARUed. There are enough undesirables on ebay and it is incumbent on every ebay member to weed out the undesirables when we come across them.

Wierd, you should be able to post a federal report on this guy unless he lives in a different state. Fortunately I was in the same state as the seller in NSW and bang, he was in trouble. I had to post mine when a seller just disappeared without sending the item that I won from him.
If anyone gets the details off him, he's guaranteed to be toasted.

Lim, can't u put a block on that pest using his IP address. That way he cannot re-register under a different alias. He may have access to a few IP addresses but surely once they all get blocked, he will find it very hard to sign up here.
