It is with a sad heart that I inform you of the passing of bpoc1 - Brian O'Connor. January 10 2024. I got to know Brian at different coin shows we attended. We also meet in Bay City MI. and went to a coin shop there. He lived just outside of there in the thumb of MI. Oh that is too bad. @bpoc was an avid contributor to CCF when I was getting started here and seemed have have lots of patience with noobs like me.

Wow, that kinda hits close to home. Brian kinda felt like a neighbor, you know. I almost went to that coin shop in Bay City that time but had to work.Flying Eagle coin shop,Don was the owner. He was "my" coin shop since 1971 when it was in the Wenona Hotel.Brian will be missed.My condolences go out to his wife and family.  John1
