I have seen this pattern before. I believe it was due to a strike-through a coil or a spring. But I could be wrong. I have no idea, but I know you all do. Thank you in advance for your patience with the picture. It was the only way I could get it to upload. If you zoom out you'll be able to see. Again, thank you.

The images posted are far too 'zoomed in' for me make any sense of what may be there--just my opinion.

Full obverse and reverse picture would help. Could be a Die Clash.
