I guessed that ttkoo went low with the price ... but $1.04!!  Really - tell us how and find a few or 10 at that price for me. I just snuck in with the low guessers for some runner up points. I'll take GTP points anyone I can get them.  Many thanks to jbuck for hosting this best of all internet coin games - without you there would not be a GTP.  |

Sorry to pull that one on you all.  The backstory would be a common one I think. This florin was among a collection of coins my late father collected. I had the lot valued by Mark from The Purple Penny and purchased them from the estate for $3,000 to appease my siblings. The average price was US1.04 The kicker was that as a beneficiary I got $600 back.... Love you, Dad. Mark has since relooked at the coin and said offhand that it has been "brushed" and probably only worth around $250, so you low-ballers were right on the money. The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.
