Hi everyone, is this what you call a BIE? Just curious because this is the first one I have found. What is that on the rim on the obverse left of LIBERTY? Also has a nice chip/crack on bottom left of the memorial on the reverse.

Nice find! Nice BIE Die Chip and Die Cracks. The reverse also seems to be showing a RIDB (Retained Interior Die Break), connected to the Die Crack.
