Nice! Here is a relatively early Penny from Ireland that dates to the 1280s. It was issued under the authority of Alexander III, who picked up the Isle of Man for Scotland when he signed the Treaty of Perth.

This late-13th Century Denar comes from Brandenberg. I believe that the inscription (OTTO MARCHIO) refers to Otto IV, also known as "Otto with the arrow". Evidently, he was shot in the head with an arrow in 1280 AD and walked around with it sticking out of his body for a period of months or years.

Congrats on notching denier/dinero/denaro/pfennig #200 I think this is currently my last Polish denar, struck by the city of Poznan in 1605:

Woo-hoo #200! Wonder if we will hit 400 coins posted? Here is a late-13th Century Denier from the Crusader State of the Duchy of Athens. The overall design should be familiar to folks who have been watching this thread evolve.

Here is a late-13th Century Pennig form the HRE Duchy of Brabant. I'm pretty sure that the rev inscription (L O V A) indicates it being designated for use in Leuven/Louvain.
