Virtually 100% of the inscriptions are off the flan, but would read +GOTFRIDVS EPISC and MONETA OSNAB VRGE. At 14 mm and 0.94 g, this doesn't see undersized (such as would happen if someone shaved the edge to harvest a little silver) so I suspect that the dies were designed larger than the flans. Perhaps someone can help to confirm/debunk this theory?
