I am from Temecula, CA but currently reside in Cape Girardeau, MO. I have been into coins since I was young, but did not know how great of a hobby / obsession it can be, I love it.
Anyone know a good magnification / microscope to view errors, chips, etc? I would take any suggestions. Nothing too pricy though, thank you!!

Welcome to CCF! I just use a 10 power magnifier loupe like Jewelers use, I hold in my hand. Sorry I don't know much about coin microscopes but the USB plug in computer ones are popular. The close up image shows on the screen.

I've been using this $8 plastic iPad magnifier for a year, and it still works really well for basic examination tasks. I've found quite a number of modern DDR nickels with it.
