Is It Possible For A 1984-D Penny To Have A Doubled Ear?

I look for the 1984 Doubled Ear and with the D I was just looking for fun but the lobe looks different and has some different elevation under it than I'm used to. Looks like doubling but I have a lot of doubts and reservations. Report this Post to the Staff

ClemClementine New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 08/21/2024 7:22 pm Yeah I mean I had a lot of reservations as well regarding it so I appreciate all the feedback. I only look for the big ear varieties at a glance like the 1984, 1997, 1983, and don't sweat small stuff. This one though just has some weight to it, like there's a ridge where I never see a ridge and it's thick. Not sure what it might be though, but not going to lose sleep over it being nothing :-) Report this Post to the Staff
