Question About Chinese Counterfeit/Fake Coin

The original coin this fake is made to look like is Tian Cheng yuan bao from Later Tang Dynasty 923-36. Original coin weights 3.54 g and its diameter is 25 mm. And it is very rear and expensive. My fake coin weights 23.72 g and its diameter is 44 mm. My question is: why to make such big fake instead of the same dimensions as original? Or maybe this coin serves as a charm? To those who want the look of the poster (for the memories or the "feel"0 of the original at a much lower price. Similarly the people who made the coin may have meant to give people a chance to appreciate the style, appearance features and detail of the authentic coin and would not be useable as a counterfeit to deceive someone Report this Post to the Staff
