I just recently picked up the same exact spinner from one of my online coin dealers but mine is not clipped.

I really like the bears on it. But I'm not sure why it's called a spinner, as most spinners I've seen have a central high point and an arrow.

I was curious too, here's what it looks like intact. It was a watch fob. You can even see where the pins were meant to go in the OP.

This is the type of spinner with which I'm familiar - from collecting, not from use.
