CCF Rules: Must have 50 posts minimum to play.
The Contest Game: To play this game, you must post a picture of your coins you own, obverse and reverse. You can post 3 coins per day, 1 coin per post. But all coins posted must be in date order. 1900-2024. Mint marks are of no concern. IMPORTANT: If two coins of the same year are posted back to back or out of date order, the game starts over until all dates are posted in order. No EDITS in this game. If someone edits their post, the game starts over.
This could be more simple than I'm thinking, but can also see this game starting over multiple times. We shall see.
I will randomly choose a date for the winner. The winning date will only be awarded to the winner if the game is completed without starting over. So, if my number were 1900 and someone posted that coin and the game were to start over and someone else were to post that coin on the next round and the game were to be completed, the winner would be the coin posted on the completed game.
Winner will receive one of my ten 1938-S Lincoln BU FS-502 variety cents. Your choice. But I will not give you close up pictures of the coins to chose. You will be able to choose from a picture of the album page. Coins 1-10 I will post a picture of. I will give people time to read this over and ask questions if needed. I will get a picture of that coin page posted when I get back home tomorrow for the coin prize.
This game will start Friday the 6th at whatever time zone you're on.

So, you are looking for 1900 to 2024 in order? and you have picked a random date already?

Correct. I haven't chosen my number yet. I will pick one before the game starts though.

Thanks for the upcoming contest & prize.
Suggestion: Whomever ruins the game & forces it to start over, should be disqualified or tarred and feathered.

Sounds like an interesting contest So I take it goes like this? Coin 1: dated 1900 Coin 2: dated 1901 Coin 3: dated 1902 Etc, by whomever posts the previous year? So say one posts 1900, then I post 1901, another 1902, then I post again 1903, so on, I assume this is the pattern? Then if another posts 1903 when I am typing or posting my 1903, the game starts over from 1900 again I assume? I can see how this is going to be very fun and or funny... Maybe not disqualified, but tarred and feathered would be better perhaps? Your challenge, your rules

Mrwhatisit: you are correct on your examples. Should be fun or it could go very smoothly.

3 ways the game starts over. 1: Two coins with the same date are posted 2: A coin posted out of date order. 3: Someone edits their post.

Ok, cool One more clarification, could we post coins using other date types like Arabic, Oriental, etc, as long as we indicate the equivalent Gregorian date? Or would you prefer us all to use just the Gregorian dated coins?

As long as it translates to the correct date. I'm OK with it.

As promised. Winner will get to choose One of my BU 1938-S FS-502 from the album page shown. All are nice coins in different die states. I don't even know which ones are the best ones out of the bunch. I just stuck them in their 2x2's and put them in the page slots. Good luck everyone. Oh, I have my chosen my random date.

Nice coins guys. Kind of a slow start though. I thought for sure this thread would be half way done by now.
