Quote: but I think they open it anyway? There's no way they're opening every package from overseas. I actually don't think I've ever received an international shipment that appeared to have been opened. For what it's worth, I've always used "Numismatic Supplies" on customs forms and haven't encountered any hiccups. Quote:I'm waiting on Santa's logistical elves to bring me the coins from ebay. Same here. Santa should be on his way next week!

I really doubt customs examiners know what the term "numismatic" means. But I still use the term metal disks.

Mailed out my package this morning. I still remember last year we had a few stragglers so I encourage everyone to not wait. Even if they deserve coal let someone else get that for them.

Quote: I'm not mailing mine until close to Xmas Is that like close to "Christmas" Kind of like there is no such thing as an American "penny" only a one cent coin. when I lived in Australia we had Pennys and half Pennys then came decimal currency

This event has always been a problem for me. Customs regulations are tightened every year. I hope to send my gift in a week when I'm in another country. Maybe the rules will be softer there. In any case, the package will be shipped in early December.

I opened the present earlier than I normally do as I was expecting something from ebay.. This present is the best - really nice money including GOLD no less. Guess I am going to have to step it up in the future. Thank you Secret Santa - your the best!

Is the US Post on strike?
If it is, am I better to wait until the strike is resolved, before posting a gift?

Hi, Pertinax ...no postal strike here ... mail is running as usual, holidays will cause a bit of slow-down, but all is good (postal-wise) in the USA ...

Hmm, I was assigned someone from here in our country, but I got a package from either Pertinax or NumisRob from Great Britain? I am in the final stages of sending out my package hopefully tomorrow to my recipient, so that angle should be good to go Based on what Pertinax said just above, the context leans more to NumisRob..., but I didn't receive an email address for him?
