My recipient hadn't added anything to What Our Members Collect. I did not think of looking in the wants list area.

Dearborn, You took photos much better than I do!!! They look superb! Saw a coin I accidentally included. Happy you have it. I would have to look up that post. Sounds fun! Is this post you were referring to: http://goccf.com/t/32990? If you need any help with identifying, let me know! I know all of them! Enjoy your lot! Best wishes.

Pertinax, NumisRob, and my Santa,
Are all of you and your families safe and sound? I understand there was a bad storm hit all over the UK and Eire yesterday and today at less extent?
Please let us know how you are getting on.
Thank you!

Hi Carrigna
Thanks for your concern! The far Southeast corner of England where I live has been fine - a bit more rain and wind yesterday than usual, but nothing serious.

Storm Eowyn was very frightening though we have escaped major damage, fortunately.
A few slates knocked awry, and a wooden garden chair reduced to little more than matchsticks, and several tree branches blown off. Early on, I heard breaking glass but I haven't found a broken window. The 3 garden sculptures all survived.
But, ...... there's another storm about to hit us.

Quote: A mystery package arrived today. My Secret Santa obviously saw my want list, which has a number of recent U.S. coins. These are all going in my albums. Thanks a lot! Quote: Ok here is what I got from Carrigna... Very nice!

NumisRob and Pertinax, thank you for letting us know both of you are well and safe. Very glad!
I am sorry about Pertinax's wooden chair and few slates missing. Delighted that your 3 garden sculptures survived!
NumisRob, it looks like where you live missed the burnt of storm? Happy it did!
Another storm coming? When would that be?

(I noticed on the card you sent me, you started to write your name but caught it after the first letter.. -- Oops - You are off to a great start! Interesting note on 1 Tugrik from Mongolia is that it is hardly used in Mongolia now. They said everyone uses bigger notes upwards from 20 tugriks but more commonly 50 Tugriks. Yet, the central bank still issue them along with mongo notes that no one really uses because of higher prices. 10,000 som note is being phased out now. You can see why: it was written in Cyrillic alphabet and Uzbekistan is shifting away from this alphabet to Turkish form of Latin alphabet. To break away from the history of Russian colonialism. Do see Slerk's post. I will add scanned images later on today! Yeah, I was not paying attention and forgot the card is for you on CCF. I was going to sign it with my first name but caught myself before I could complete it. I am a human being like anyone! You are a good sleuth!

Quote: Can I suggest putting Wants Lists under "Stuff for Members"? Good suggestion, Pertinax! Or perhaps we could make the list for this group? Do not know if it is okay to do?
